The Junior Club History

The Junior Club was origianlly set up in the 2006-07 Season with intially 2 teams at U10/U11.

The Under 10 team played in the competitive Walton and Kirkdale League, and the Under 12 in the Mossley Hill leagues. With the sucess of these new junior teams, it became apparent that there was a large number of younger children wishing to become part of this new club and in October 2006 with a series of training events an under 6's team & under 7's were born.

The club is now establishing itself in local Junior football and has since added an Under 15 team & Under 12 team. This has in turn allowed the club to build upon the Youth Section, and eventually, with support from the main club, will help develop local young players to be able to challenge for places in the Senior squad in the future.

The junior club has been set up to help young players to be involved in an established sports activity and give opportunities to be involved in football and progress in the future. The club prides itself on it friendly nature and ensures that all children are coached in a happy and safe environment.
